[mythtv-users] Memory Consumption

64 Meg GeForce4 420.  This isn't onboard, and as far as I know it's not
using shared memory.

 

Looking at some of the application monitoring tools, I think that KDE is
to blame.  Looks like KDE is using about 180megs, then Myth backend is a
consistent 40, then MySQL is using 8, and the frontend isn't using more
that 6 or so.  This is all while watching Live TV.  I have a bunch of
Apache HTTPD processes using about 2 megs each.  Also, my swap is at 450
megs (less that double the physical memory, is this okay?), but like you
I never see more than 50 or 60 megs of that getting used.  

 

I'm just hoping that this goes away with my next system.
