[mythtv-users] PVR-250 Remote H E L P !

I've been going nuts trying to get the gray remote that comes with the PVR-250 to work.  I replaced another hauppauge card with the PVR-250 and everything worked just fine with the older (black) remote.  I upgraded lirc to .70pre1 and replaced lircd.conf with lircd-g.conf from IVTV.  Everything appears to load fine, IRW just won't show anything.  I've made sure all the irc stuff is the proper (.70) versions.
 
If I replace lircd.conf with the old one, the black remote still works fine.
 
Any ideas??
