Without having a db meter, I'd say that if the Pundit were softer you
could use it as a pillow.  It is quite litterly very, very quiet.

Nope, just modified the X config file and enabled it there:
Section "Device"
    Identifier "device1"
    VendorName "Silicon Integrated Systems"
    BoardName "SiS 315/650"
    Driver "sis"

    # Option "DPMS"
    Option "XvOnCRT2" "true"
    Option "CHTVOverscan" "false"
    Option "ForceCRT2Type" "TV"
EndSection

You could put "SVIDEO" instead of "TV" if you need to.  I didn't need
overscan since it seems to fill my screen just fine.
