[mythtv-users] resolved conflicts and partial encodes

I've been recording some shows for friends who don't have cable, but
prioritize my own stuff.  Anyway, when my half-hour show finishes on
conflicting nights, myth starts encoding the end of the other show. 
What good is half of a show?  Is it supposed to do this?  When I say
"record x instead of y" - why is it still trying to record "y"?
