[mythtv-users] Quitting myth frontend and creating playlists

Hi, I've recently setup mythtv and really appreciate the hard work that went
into creating this program. It really is very nice.

I do have a couple questions though. I read in keys.txt that alt-f4 was
supposed to quit the program. I had also read that alt-esc was supposed to
do the same (maybe on this list, maybe somewhere else). I have tried both,
and neither will kill the myth frontend. To kill it I have to have run it
from a terminal and ctrl-c, or do ps and kill.

Is there something in mandrake linux (9.1 using KDE) that is catching the
key presses before they get to the application? I ask because ctrl-alt-esc
brings up a window where I can kill individual processes.

I'd like to make it as simple to use as possible, because I mainly setup the
box to record shows for my two year old and my wife needs to run it for him
while I am at work. She is not very computer literate and telling her
"alt-tab to the terminal window, hit ctrl-c, now run the dvd player" will
get me yelled at. :)

Another question that I wanted to know, is it possible to setup a playlist
of recorded shows to playback? Usually my son will watch two to three shows
before he decides to play with blocks or his guys. I'd like to be able to
set up the program to play back Dora, Dragontales and then Bob The Builder
without my wife having to get over and start each show.
