[mythtv-users] Pundit POST problems?

Hello there,

I was wondering if any Pundit users can verify this.... it seems that
anytime you have to abruptly shutdown the system, due to either an OS
freeze, or a hang during normal boot. That when you attempt to power the
system back up, the darn thing does NOT want to post. You get long posting
beep tones, but absolutely NO video, and of course no way to get into the
bios.

It seems the only way to get the system to post again, is to remove all
cables from the machine (including power)... let it sit for a good 20min,
then connect everything back up and try again. Then when the system does
finally post again, you're immediately put into the bios to set your
processor speed (which it always auto-detects) once again due to the abrupt
shutdown.

I've had ASUS motherboards in the past that would pop you into the bios
after a harsh shutdown, so this is normal. But the fact that the damn thing
won't even post for like 20 min is just annoying as all hell. Is there some
hidden setting in the bios to prevent this weirdness from happening again?

Anyone else seen this quirky problem?
