[mythtv-users] Graphic Overlay in text mode

Hi all,
 
Just got MythTV up and running...working pretty
smoothly, after a couple of days of tweaking.
 
However, once I watch TV or a recording, and kill the
X session and go into text mode, I get a graphic
overlay that obscures the text.  The overlay is
vaguely similar to the last frame of the program I was
watching, though the colors are different.
 
The only way to get rid of this (that I can find) is
to re-start MythTV and start watching another TV
program.  This clears the overlay, but creates a new
one next time I exit to text mode.
 
Here's my setup:
 
Pentium III P450, 320 MB RAM
NVidia TNT 2  (with latest NVidia linux drivers)
Hauppauge PVR 250
Using S-Video out, but problem happens with VGA-out
also.
