HDCP is an encryption method. It is an *optional* part of HDMI, which 
(IIRC) is just a version of DVI. (HDMI with HDCP is also called 
PanelLink Cinema.) Are you absolutely sure that your TV will refuse the 
display of non-encrypted data streams (if so, I'd say you should rather 
return your TV, not graphics card)? It might make some sense (to 
Hollywood, at least) to enforce HDCP on the source side (DVD player), 
but on the recipient side (TV)?

Personally, I appreciate anything that does *not* support the HDCP crap, 
which is only meant to screw you.
