[mythtv-users] How to deal with non-equal tuners ?

Hi all,

I have a Mythtv backend with two tuners. One of them has *terrible*
reception on the lower (VHF) channels, but OK reception on the higher
(UHF) channels. I have tried swapping cables, but it's definitely a
tuner problem.

Is there anyway to tell the scheduler something like:

"use /dev/video0 for all channels in the database;
  use /dev/video1 only for this subset"

?

I know, in the best of all worlds I would have attached a patch to
allow not only this but also prioritization of which program gets
scheduled to which tuner ;-) Would be nice for a mixed DVB-T/analog
cable setup.

Thanks,

Jan-Derk Bakker
