I've been looking at building that one as well. I have a couple of
questions about it though:

What IR LEDs did you use?
What size cap did you use? 4000uF seems awefully big.
are you using a remote to control myth? in which case, how did you get
LIRC to control both the dish and recieve input from the remote?
