If you want to.  Don't really know why you'd want to destroy your existing 
config, but, whatever.

Works fine.

Only thing you have to do is watch for changes to the cvs.sql script and 
update the database when necessary.  Otherwise, if you have to ask, you 
probably should just stick to the releases.
