[mythtv-users] Different ringbuffer locations per tuner?

The instructions are not that great, but installing the audio drivers
(assuming you use one of the supported distros) is no big deal.

You unzip the 74audio* file, and cd into that directory
cd RedHat (or Mandrake, whatever)
cd 7.3 (or whatever version you're using)
You will see some ".gz" files. Don't be fooled! These are compressed tar
files. Just
tar -xzf 74(arch).gz
cd 74(arch)
su
../vinstall

And you should be done. If you already have a half-botched alsa install
lying around you may have some problems (as I did), but I did a clean
install and then the steps above and had no problems after that.

You can email me privately (or on the users list, I don't care) if you
have any questions.

And I was the one who tried the new slim driver. It seems to work great
on distros that use gcc 2x, not well on distros that use gcc 3x (according
to the chatter on viaarena).
