        In version 0.13, there is a slightly better method.  There are
three choices for handling commercial breaks when they're detected
during playback (see the Playback options in TV Settings):

- do not skip
- skip automatically
- notify, but do not skip

The last one brings up an OSD that tells you the length of the
commercial break.  If it looks reasonable, hit 'Z'.  If it looks too
long, just go forward manually.  (I think I made a trivial source edit
to shorten the notification message string so that it would fit in the
"defaultosd" theme progress bar.)
