[mythtv-users] Using homebrew ir transmitter to control
Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3100 [tip]

I went the route of an IR transmitter that aims at the cable box.
There are several ports on the Explorer 3100, but with a lack of
documentation readily availble on how to interface via them, I
took the path of least resistance.
