[mythtv-users] Lirc works with irw, but not irxevent

Hi,

I am able to get my remote (Leadtek WinTV2000 XP Deluxe CoolCommand) to
work using the irw command.  And there is an lircd.conf file in /etc/.

But when I attempt to run "irxevent &" I get an error message saying, 
       "irxevent: could not open config file"

Any ideas about how to work past this?  If /etc/ is not where lircd.conf
should be, where should it be?
