[mythtv-users] PVR-250 audio wire

First, is there a way you can hook up cable so you can remove the
line-in from the equation?
I have done multiple installs (different kernels and distros)  and
occasionally, I don't get audio on the tv tuner.  Following the
troubleshooting part of Justin's PVR250 w/ Redhat 9 & APT howto has
always made it work.  Read the section on ivtv.  (If you haven't
already)

Once that worked, I'd try the line-in setup.  Of course you could be a
dish user and this might not be possible, but don't most dish receivers
have cable out which you can run straight to the 250.

interesting... I have video coming in through S-Video and have audio
hooked into the line in, so am I safe to assume something is wrong on
the software/driver/setup side of things ? Audio is playing fine for
other video files (downloaded)

Can someone explain to me what kind of internal wire i need to go from
my PVR-250 to my audio card ? I expected something simillar to a cd-rom
to audio card wire but the prong on the hauppauge is some kind of narrow
12 pin prong... was I suppose to get a wire come with the card ?

[DB] There is no audio cable since the stream gets encoded on the
card the audio gets encoded in the MPEG stream which is then played
through myth.
