[mythtv-users] Green Screen Related to Hardware?

I have previously posted a problem about a green screen when using KnoppMyth
v4.0. A pic can be seen at http://www.michaelstarks.com/mythproblem.jpg.
Since I couldn't resolve that problem in a reasonable amount of time, I
decided to try RH9/Jarod's guide on another system. Other than some choppy
video which was to be expected, it was working.

I decided to go back to the first system and use RH 9.0 since I have an
additional PCI slot in it. Fully expecting everything to blow up, I figured
I'd just move the drive and see if RH found the new hardware. To my
surprise, it worked!

Now I'm back to the original problem. KnoppMyth is Debian-based so I doubt
it's a distribution problem. and I'm now using MythTV 0.13 whereas before I
was using 0.12.

I planned on doing a fresh install on this box but am thinking I'll run into
the green screen problem again anyway. Does anyone have an idea as to what
is going on? My previous post
(http://www.gossamer-threads.com/perl/mailarc/gforum.cgi?post=93028;search_s
tring=green%20screen;guest=1835690&t=search_engine#93028) details more.

Which logs should search for a clue? Any other ideas?
