So does anyone have any documentation or a good site to get SNES software
and ROMS?

Mythgame is simply a frontend/launcher for several game systems: XMame
(for emulation of real (usually legacy) arcade cabinet hardware), SNES
(Super Nintendo emulator) and regular games that run natively under
Linux. For XMame or SNES, you need to obtain the software plus game
ROMs and learn how to use it. For native Linux games, you just put the
appropriate command (with a description) in <install prefix>/share/
mythtv/games.xml, or ${HOME}/.mythtv/games.xml. I believe there is a
sample games.xml file in the Myth distribution.
