I'm having problems with modprobe ivtv. I've been following Jarod's directions
for a Fedora install. When I: "/sbin/modprobe ivtv", I get:

/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2129.nptl_24.rhfc1.at/updates/drivers/media/video/ivtv.o:
init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including
invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2129.nptl_24.rhfc1.at/updates/drivers/media/video/ivtv.o:
insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2129.nptl_24.rhfc1.at/updates/drivers/media/video/ivtv.o
failed
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2129.nptl_24.rhfc1.at/updates/drivers/media/video/ivtv.o:
insmod ivtv failed

A little info about my system:

  # rpm -q ivtv
  ivtv-0.12-cvs20031125a_M179_cs_16.rhfc1.at

  #rpm -q ivtv-kmdl-`uname -r`
  ivtv-kmdl-2.4.22-1.2129.nptl_24.rhfc1.at-0.12-cvs20031125a_M179_cs_16.rhfc1.at

I've researched this on the list and found these two articles, but nothing that
was suggested seems to work:

All suggestions are welcome... thanks in advance,

-- Michael
