[mythtv-users] Anyone have IR Blaster working in Gentoo?

Hi all, 

I'm in the process of trying to move my mythtvbackend off my workstation
to my server. So I bought a pvr-250 a WD 120Gig and slapped them in my
server. Deleted RH off the server and in the process of install Gentoo
with the gs-sources. (good for servers it seems)
My basic question is has anyone been able to use the IR Blaster say from
SnapStream  with Gentoo and Lirc?

Or if not then should I just try and build my own?
