The Radio Shack receiver listed on that page works good too for those 
too lazy to order one.  You'll pay a premium at the Shack though.  My 
local electronics parts shop suggested I get that one because he doesn't 
carry IR Receiver modules but gets requests all the time, so knew 
exactly what I was after.

I recommend using the capacitor in the circuit as well (it's in the 
diagram.)
