[mythtv-users] dvd with ivtv works but not from myth

Hi

When i enter

  ivtvfbctl /dev/fb0 -noglobalalpha -localalpha

on the console and then use my ivtv-patched mplayer like this

  mplayer -ao alsa9 -vo ivtv:/dev/video16 -dvd-device /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 dvd://

i can play a dvd just fine.

when i want to do the same from within myth, i get no picture, but the
dvd is playing, i can hear the sound. when i then run the above ivtvfbctl
command from the console, the picture appears and everything is just fine.

i did set mythfrontend to use the pvr (settings/tv settings/playback ->
use pvr), but still, mythtv doesn't 'switch the fb device'. i use 0.13.

what am i doing wrong?
