[mythtv-users] Gentoo and ivtv - HELP!!!

Make sure you get the latest firmware before proceding any further.

cp the pvr250_17_21288.exe to the utils dir under the ivtv source
directory, cd to that dir Run ./ivtvfwextract.pl pvr250_17_21288.exe
To extract the firmware, it will be placed into /lib/modules/

Now proceed with the rest of the instructions. Other wise, without the
firmware, you will not be able to capture anything.
