[mythtv-users] Can't connect to backend when starts as a service

I had this problem on my Mandrake 9.2, and ended up fixing it by using
sudo to start it from the KDE login script...

I had it set to start at boot as a service very late in the game, but it
would still fail about 50% of the time.
