[mythtv-users] raw ac3 out the S/PDIF ?

There has been some discussion of this during the last week in the list. There have been some suggestions of a hardware problem with some motherboard chipsets which prevent the hardware-passthrough from working. What motherboard are you using?

I am in the same position - my hifi refuses to decode anything sent through with the hwac option. It does however work fine under the default mythtv settings.
