[mythtv-users] no channels in the Database

Thanks Isaac,

maybe I should stop trying to help him but I'll try once more (I teach
at the university, so it's kind of my job to teach things to people who
are sometimes likely to not appreciate or understand them)

Markus, please back up to the post where I told you the correct
commands.

You're interpretation of the help text is wrong. That's all there is
about it. Being german you are not supposed to understand every english
text, and man pages can be very difficult to understand (no offense, I'm
german, too). That's why I'm trying to help you.

So, please go back to the post with the correct commands and try them.
If they don't work, feel free to ask again.

If you insist your understanding is correct, would you please leave the
linux community?

BTW, the combination of --manual and --xawchannels might do some very
funny things to the database, depending of it's inputs, so maybe he did
indeed fill the database :-)
