Default. But I've upgraded to the latest kernels, and now I'm using 
2.4.22-21mm.2mdk. On another machine with MDK9.2 and a different SBLive 
I'm running the standard 2.4.22-21mdk kernel, which also works. Upon 
startup the first one reports alsa 0.9.8, and the second reports 0.9.6. 
But the alsa RPMs are all 0.9.6
