[mythtv-users] PVR-250 (No Video - Just static)

I've noticed another thread (other than this one) about snow on pvr-250's
within the last week.  I have one of the avermedia m179's now and am getting
the same picture issues.  Now before people yell at me, I realize that the
m179 isn't supported yet. But my understanding is that the video chip
(iTVC15) is the same for both, and the problems with the m179 will be the
lack of sound (unless I compile things from ivtv's cvs).

My "tuner 0" input maps to -p 4, and on that input I get snow.  All other p
values give a black screen.  

The other thread was "showing snow on tv using Jarods Guide" started by
"me", dec 1.  I also tried changing the channel frequency using ptune.pl as
they did, but still nothing but snow.

I did an upgrade on everything as of today, so maybe there is something new
going on?  Did anyone with existing cards based on iTVC15 upgrade their
rpm's recently (and do they still work)?

I am having problems with no video. I have done the :

all I get is static and no sound, no matter what channel I am on. I used
ATrpms and I have his KERNEL.
