Hmm, maybe I'm not understanding something than. When I say they're
linked against libmyth I mean I did a ldd /usr/local/bin/mythvideo and
it came back with (amongst other things) :

root at mythtv:/usr/local/lib# ldd /usr/local/bin/mythvideo
        libmyth-0.9.so.0 => libmyth-0.9.so.0 (0x40018000)
        libqt-mt.so.3 => /usr/local/qt-3.2.3/lib/libqt-mt.so.3
(0x4012e000)
        libXext.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6 (0x40981000)
