[mythtv-users] Nehemiah Performance

I *am* using RH9 and I would very much like to get the special drivers
you mention running.  Can you be a bit more precise about what to get
and from where?  (Or even what to search for on viaarena.com to find
what you are referring to...)

I would also like to know what you have to do to use them.  I.e.,
recompile X?

As far as I can tell simply selecting 720x480 in the LiveTV setup (under
recording options) does it.  It seems to correctly cause mythtv to send
call the proper ioctls to set the PVR-250 to use this resolution.

Did you try that?

As I said though, there is constant stuttering when watching LiveTV (or
recorded programs) at this resolution (on my m10k).  If the above
drivers will solve this it would be just great!

Does anyone have any thoughts on why the ATI Radeon requires so little
CPU to drive it when playing TV?
