In the remotes bundle (available at http://www.lirc.org/remotes.tar.bz2
) there is a directory for scientific_atlanta and a config file for
Explorer_2000. Is this what you are looking for?

Subject: [mythtv-users] Questions about configuration
Hi guys, I try not to post unless i'm stuck but when I do you've all
been real helpful. Well I'm stuck again. I've managed to configure
everything up until this point, I have a working myth box now, which is
a huge step for me, the last piece of equipment I'm working on is the
IR blaster/transmitter for my Scientific Atlanta 2100. First off let me
start by saying I'm not even 100% sure I built it right, "schematic from
www.blars.com/lirc I believe. However I really hope I did, because its
squished in the smallest of boxes, and I really don't want to rip it out
unless I have to, but whatever. Anyway I notice it detects as a
Reciever in dmesg when I load lirc_serial I've also heard of other
people with working IR blasters have it detecting as a reciever as well.
I've configured lirc with the transmitter option checked off. My
problem is the configuration file, has anyone gotten this setup to work?
I've read that the
SA2000+ boxes use a differen't frequency or something, something like
SA2000+ 57000
or something, isntead of the normal 36000 or 38000, I don't know
anything about IR transmission, but I know the JVC_SEND program operates
on that as well. Is there a configuration file for the SA2000 series?
or a program like jvc_send, or a way to modify jvc_send to work for my
needs? any information would be great, thanks -Jon
