[mythtv-users] How much XFree86 CPU utilization do you get ?

You've got something wrong with your Xree86
configuration.

During MythTV operation (whether it's recording or
playing back), mythbackend and mythfrontend are the
main CPU abusers (the backend while recording or
watching "Live TV").

My X CPU usage is at less than 1% most of the time,
sometimes it spikes as high as 1.5%.

Check to make sure that you have XVideo extensions
correctly configured, as it could be that the CPU is
doing the work in software, rather than your hardware
being used.
