[mythtv-users] Transcoding Questions

Hi all,

 

Some basic transcoding questions:

 

(1)     When a transcoding is finished (at least for manual transcoding,
haven't tried automatic yet), it renames the original file
"[filename].nuv.old".  When/how does the ".old" file get deleted?

 

(2)     When transcoding to mpeg4 / mp3, I am not getting any audio.  The
original file was recorded using the hardware mpeg2 (PVR-250), and
originally sounded fine.  Any ideas why the audio is not getting transcoded?
