The ivtv card produces mpeg2.  The recording types in the profile selection 
are:  MPEG-4, RTJPEG, and MJPEG.  None of those are mpeg2.  Why would you set 
it to mjpeg if you don't have a mjpeg card?

Why do people always misread mjpeg for mpeg2?

Anyway, the only setting the ivtv cards use is the capture resolution.  Just 
set everything up for the analog capture card for now.
