[mythtv-users] WinTV PVR-250

I'm trying to determine if the WinTV PVR-250 card I can get from 
MicroWarehouse in Canada is indeed NTSC capable (I don't see why not!), 
but for some reason it is listed as PAL/B-G

What catches my attention is that the video capture rate is quoted at 
25fps not 29.97fps which implies that the card is for PAL purposes... 

The same oddball specs seem to be found at other vendors like Amazon...

Also, does anyone know what chipsets the WinTV PVR-pci uses?  I can't 
find a hardware compatibility list for IVTV anywhere...
