[mythtv-users] MythTV CVS, Does it change ALSA volume/mixer settings on it's own?

Hi all,

I'm running MythTV CVS from August 11, and I'm
noticing something strange. I'm just wondering if
it's MythTV, or if it's something wonky with ALSA.

I'm using a Soundblaster Live 5.1 card, and I custom
set some ALSA settings (Master volume, Line, Capture,
etc.). I saved those to /etc/asound.conf using
alsactl store (as root).

I set my master volume at 80, (verify it with
alsamixer), and then run MythTV. When the GUI pops
up, I run alsamixer again, the master volume is still
80. As soon as I start watching TV though, it drops
to 71. Granted, this isn't a big deal, I just need to
increase the volume on my TV by one level. This also
happens when I change channels, i.e. change the mixer
settings while watching TVs, and then change the
channel, the volume also decreases.

So, is there some setting that I need to change
somewhere? Or is it just ALSA that is playing tricks
on me?
