This happens when the QDoc code in filldata.cpp tries to read an empty 
file.  Although I use tv_grab_nz, in my case (with myth-0.10) was that 
the guide list was being written to a different file to what was being 
read from.  Some hacking got this sorted.  CVS code works OK.
