Nope - you don't need the home media option.  What you do need, however,
it to have your Tivo networked.  I've got a Sony Series 1 Tivo.  It's
got a TurboNet card in it, which is how I'm able to get into it.  I also
had to run vserver (on the Tivo) so that MythTivo could read shows from
the Tivo (and stream them to the mythtv.)

It's pretty easy - just realize.  All it does is make it so that any
Myth frontend box can watch shows recorded from your Tivo.  (What would
be really cool would be if it could also extract them for transcoding!)
