[mythtv-users] Hardware encoding with PVR-350?

I have a working MythTV system (mythtv-suite with mythtv 0.10) and would 
like to use my PVR-350 capture board to encode MPEGs.  I tried enabling 
hardware encoding by setting "TV Settings"->"Recording"->"Default" to 
"Hardware MJPEG", but nothing was recorded.  Specifically, empty .nuv files 
were created.  The only other option is MPEG4, which the PVR-350 doesn't 
support.  What am I missing?
