I have not looked at this is some time, but with some deinterlacers I
worked on, the timestamps were messed up coming out of the deinterlacer
and I added code to copy the original timestamps onto the deinterlaced
frames, and interpolate the time stamps for the extra frames created. I
am not sure which deinterlacers had the problem, I think maybe the
NVIDIA Shield built in deinterlace was like this.
