[mythtv] Please review my solution to Ticket #12277: Metadata collection always fails for Manual Record rules

   I submitted the ticket #12277 more than three years ago. I
immediately attached my solution and marked the it as a patch.
Nothing's happened for three years. I know the Submitting Bug Fixes
wiki page says to "Be patient", but this delay seems excessive.

   I recently rebased from 0.27-fixes to the latest code base (29),
and found that my old patch no longer fit into updated files.
I've updated the fix to work with the current source files.

   Could someone with merge privileges please review my new
patch and consider merging it in?
