Sorry, my bad. I was also looking at the running mythbox, and I must 
have copied from that box (which was last updated in November, 2016).

On the laptop, where the build failed, I find this:

in /video/temp/keep/myth/mythtv/.git/logs

where I ran rm -rf mythtv in the keep/myth folder, and then did a git 
clone.

Where do I find a reference to v29-pre-511 etc?
