The problem may have something to do with mesa-egl, but I am way out of 
my depth here.

I ran ldd on


which gave
libEGL.so.1 => /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/mesa-egl/libEGL.so.1 

but mythfrontend.real correctly links to in one place:
libEGL.so => /opt/vc/lib/libEGL.so (0x711bf000)

but also to
libEGL.so.1 => /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/mesa-egl/libEGL.so.1 

There is also a possibility that qt5 has not be built for rpi.
