But you'll find that it works with it too.

I get the same message even without that change. The behaviour is racy and
is timing dependent.

And when using mythavtest, without it you have no OSD working on any
platform and on Mac I have no playback.

OpenGL is broken for me currently, and is far more broken without that
change..

Using only OpenGL, the playback size is 1/4 of the size of the window.

The Qt5 update is not complete in that area unfortunately. And it's
something I'll look into next.
Unfortunately I'm no Qt expert, and even less so in OpenGL..
