Um, I think you mean MythBrowser.  'Cause MythWeb is, you know, 
something else.  ;)

I've also found that mouse clicks will sometimes be recognized even 
when keyboard input isn't.  Command-tab to another app, put the mouse 
over a MythBrowser control and then click back.

Also, when the screen is initially blank, if you slowly move the move 
the mouse you'll see it change to an I-beam and maybe other shapes. 
I think it is reacting to elements in the screen that are invisible.
