I try every time I see an interesting commit go by but so far HLS hasn’t come back to life. I just did a build which includes the HLS recording changes you committed but no joy, not that I expected a recorder change to affect encoding. Below is the relevant part of the transcode log. The interesting line is the one that says “Specified sample format s16 is invalid or not supported.” Over here:

you said it would be an easy fix but I imagine that fell by the wayside. It’s not a huge ordeal to be without streaming but if you get a chance there are at least two of us who would love to see HLS working again.
