[mythtv] (no subject)

Hello,

I'm trying to build and run MythTV on OpenSUSE 11.3.  I've been able to build it successfully, but I'm having issues running it now.


I try to run mythtv-setup and get an error connecting to the mysql database.

Here's my error:

QMYSQL: Unable to connect
Database error was:
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

I've installed mysql (MySQL-server-5.5.28-1.linux2.6.i386.rpm) and run the database/mc.sql file to create the mythconverg db.

I can connect to mythconverg by doing: mysql -umythtv -pmythtv mythconverg

I installed libqt4-sql-mysql and added /usr/lib/qt4/plugins/sqldrivers to /etc/ld.so.conf

What am I missing?
