[mythtv] HLS Failing

I just tried the scenario of the myth-generated stream files (.m3u8 & ts) being served up by apache and got the same results - vlc plays them fine and apple's player stutters on the audio. So, it seems that something about the streams myth generates from ac3 source material gives apple heartburn.
