Yeah, it's a tough situation.  I'd like to see it applied too, and I'm
always conflicted about those tickets which have been around literally
forever but seem to be intractably stuck.  I've suggested that we
determine which ffmpeg fork to go with based on who is willing to help
us fold in our mpeg ts changes.

If it helps, I applied one of your other patches earlier :)
