Seeking often becomes broken if you seek backwards past the beginning of
the current live tv show to the previous show. I have not done
exhaustive testing,
but I believe it breaks if it cannot seek the amount requested, for example, if
there are not 30 seconds to seek backward and you request that, it will not
seek correctly afterward. Eventually, it will not seek forward or backwards,
only stuttering and breaking up into a blocky picture when hitting any
seek button.
This does not happen on recorded tv from the HDPVR.

I can turn on more debugging it it will help.

Commits 8d1c05841 and 925077254 have significantly improved
live tv with the HDPVR by eliminating the problems when switching
programs. The seek problems remain though.
